Welcome to Baden Baden Brewery in Brazil – South America

Last week I went to Campos do Jordão City, near São Paulo State.
My destination? Baden Baden Brewery, a young and small brewery that was born in 1999 from the craft beer passion of three friends.
They had eight beers (including Cristal, Bock, Red Ale, Golden, 1999 (ESB), Stout, and Weiss). I took some pictures inside:

That´s me!

In 2008, Baden Baden Stout won the Gold Medal at European Beer Star in Germany, being voted “Best Dry Stout.”
A year later, the Stout took the silver medal in the “Dry Stout” category at the Australian International Beer Awards. Additionally, Baden Baden Red Ale won a bronze medal in the “Barley Wine” category.

The new beer…
Christmas Beer (Specialty Beer; 5.5% ABV), made especially for the holiday season. The Baden Baden Christmas Beer is kind of an Extra Wheat Ale: slightly sparkling, light color, fruity aroma, and smooth body. It´s similar to Champagne, which harmonizes well with the year-end evenings.
The beer will have a limited edition of only 20,000 bottles and is available for purchase from the second week of December 2010 in major supermarkets and special houses of Sao Paulo and also in southern Brazil.
That´s all folks,
See you soon with other beers from Brazil!
